Well, it is Springtime, and the orange trees are in bloom. They smell so great! Covid-19 may be on the way out if we stay diligent. I would like to introduce you to a new venture: My Son Chris and Tracey have started a new business called Earthwood Cutting Boards! They have a store in Oak Glen. See them at 38480 Oak Glen Rd, Oak Glen CA 92399. With 2 shops here in Escondido we have been producing these amazing cutting boards, charcuterie boards and special serving boards.

For the first time in 35 years, we are going to enter the Design In Wood Show at the Del Mar Fair. We were a sponsor for all that time and not allowed to enter!!! This Chair & Footstool are made of curly maple and walnut with South American Leather. These pictures are of a chair that was made for Kevin & Debbie Svetich as the current chairs does not have photos as yet.
The curly maple is just stunning in the show chair, these pictures don’t show the great detail of Kevin’s chair which is just like the Show Chair.. If you are at the Fair this June be sure to visit the Design In Wood show to see some of the Countries best woodworking. The are over 350 entries this year!!!
Pat & Richard Custin’s twin Spindle Arm Morris Chairs finished in Ultrasuede 666
Here are pair of our Spindle Arm Morris Chair’s and Footstools for Pat & Richards home. The build was curly maple for the arms and frame and highly figured for the canted arms and rails. The legs were walnut along with the side slats. The back support was walnut and maple slats. The foot stool followed the same design.
