Once your heirlooms are completed, there are four different ways to get them from our shop to you, depending on where the pieces are going and time frame. Please feel free to contact us for current estimates for the options listed below.
A number of our customers choose to pick up their furniture, rather than have it delivered. For this reason, we do not include any delivery expenses in the prices of our furniture. Please arrange a pick up time in advance. We will assist in loading the furniture. We recommend you bring blankets, or other padding, and tie-downs to protect your furniture.
Deliveries to the San Diego area: We deliver furniture on a regular basis. Delivery fees within the San Diego Metropolitan area are charged according to zip code. This delivery includes any furniture setup and placement within the house. Please indicate any special instructions such as stairs or tight turns when scheduling delivery.
Anywhere in the continental U.S.: We use this method regularly for customers on the West Coast and throughout the U.S. There are no packaging costs associated, and the furniture will be moved into your house. The cost is determined by the blanket-Wrap shipper and is typically a percentage of Murphy Fine Woodworking Invoice total or shipper minimum fees. Payment is normally made directly to us. Blanket-Wrap Shipping is often less expensive than Common Carrier, depending on the specifics of the delivery. However, geographic coverage and timing flexibility are generally more limited for locations beyond the West Coast.
To anywhere in the world: This method is often best for shipments of single items across the U.S. and multiple items beyond the Continental U.S. Arrangements are usually made through MFW. There are two costs involved with this method: packaging and shipping.
If we produce an excellent product, render great customer care, and design for our customer's need,
there will always be clients that will need our work.
