Fall and Winter are great times to gather together inside (even in San Diego!), and to make those gatherings more comfortable, we have special prices on some amazing pieces. Each piece is custom designed and crafted to your specifications. You will get to participate in the process by selecting wood, finish and leather/fabrics. Take a look at what we are crafting now, then give us a call to chat about your dreams … California West Greene & Greene Chair This chair and footstool are a new design for us. The legs are solid cherry and feature the Blacker Leg Indent Detail from Charles Greene from 1907-09. The Cloud Lift Detail of side stretchers and the front, back in Curly Maple create a stunning profile for the design. The arms are laminated Curly Maple and carefully chosen for the best grain pattern. All the pieces are assembled with mortise and tenon joinery. The design for the side, center section was sized to fit the panel and it was laser cut. This chair design is strongly influenced by the brothers, Charles & Henry Greene. The leather is from Argentina and is a perfect match to the wood colors. We produce 4 different chairs in the Morris style. Size: 40” high by36” wide and 42” deep  For the matching couch, we are starting from this frame, making it a bit bigger with a third cushion. The adjustable back will be slightly modified, as well, and it should be a stunning matching pair for their living room.  Mission Couch and Settle  If you like having your furniture start conversations, this couch - with its loose cushions - matches our chairs and coffee table for our living room collection. Using Quartersawn Red Oak for the top arm and the sides makes this a very striking piece. The corbels on the side balance the design. The fine Italian leather makes a perfect touch.  Back view of the couch with the spindles enables the couch to sit anywhere in the room and can act as a room divider.  This settle is designed to match the Mission Couch and adds the footstool to balance the chair. The Quartersawn Red Oak is stunning. The design has Quadralinear leg post construction which is four boards mitered and glued to best display the Oak’s ray flake which seems to wrap around the leg. The fine Italian leather makes a perfect touch.
